A new amplified laser source at LuMIn: a one box TiSa amplifier Astrella (Coherent), 800 nm, 4 kHz, 80 fs, 6W! It is now installed in the building 505, in the platform devoted to ultrafast optical spectroscopy, with in particular femtosecond transient absorption. This kHz source can pump a visible NOPA tunable from 500 to 750 nm, that can be further frequency doubled for UV excitation. A 80 MHz output from the oscillator TiSa laser is also available.
