    Résumé

    A resonant fiber ring cavity based on a photonicbandgap hollow-core fiber is described and characterized. We explore the fine spectral dependence of the transmission losses of this cavity and their impact on the performances of the resulting resonator fiber optic gyroscope (RFOG).
